On a field trip we think Pearson broke this poor little chickens leg! I'm kind of at a loss as to what to do with him. He is doing okay I don't know if we should just let him heal, if he's gonna die anyway, should we splint him?? He's too small to eat. Additionally, they are out growing their housing and we have to prepare to move them to the shed.
The garlic worked on the chickens they are worm free. I guess I'll just keep feeding it to them.
It's weird being tied to the seasons. I nearly missed the planting time for a couple of things because I wasn't thinking like a farmer. I was just going on about my business. Anyway here are the starter plants for our Spring/Summer garden. We are going to grow Okra, black eyed peas, tomatoes, green peppers, hot peppers in the small garden. Right next to the house we are going to grow watermelon &
cantaloupe. Last year Brian
Maass said I grew personal sized watermelons! I'm trying for the 'real deal
Holifield' this year!
Happy Farming!
